3KCBWDAY4 - A knitter for all seasons?

As spring is in the air in the northern hemisphere and those in the southern hemisphere start setting their sights for the arrival of winter, a lot of crocheters and knitters find that their crafting changes along with their wardrobe. Have a look through your finished projects and explain the seasonality of your craft to your readers. Do you make warm woollens the whole year through in preparation for the colder months, or do you live somewhere that never feels the chill and so invest your time in beautiful homewares and delicate lace items. How does your local seasonal weather affect your craft?

So, since I have started knitting not so long ago (at least as the perfect knitaholic), let's say since the beginning of last year, I can't really give an indication as to whether I am a knitter for all seasons...

Let's just say that when we went on our summer vacation last year, I was knitting around the pool on my pool chair, I was knitting at the beach on the beach chair, and I was knitting on our apartment balcony on my.... apartement chair???... Now that's what I call devotion to craft.

And what was I knitting? Small squares to make a plaid. More of a winter accessory. OK, it was cotton thread, I admit, I wouldn't be able to knit wool in the summer (mmm... well, haven't tried that yet actually...).

Otherwise, this winter, I have knitted lots of shawls, I wore them, and I'm still wearing them. Damn, it's april and it's still cold (and I live in Morocco!!!). I am so waiting for the sun, but in meantime (and in secret), I kind of like that kind of weather... I can't still knit... shhhhhhh...

By the way, cotton squares plaid's not finished yet of course, but that wasn't today's question right?
